Notice is hereby given in terms of section 13 Constitution of the National Association of Social Workers Zimbabwe that there shall be an Annual General Meeting (A.G.M) on Saturday, 25 May 2024, at 0930hrs. The AGM will be held at Child Protection Society, Number 1 Corner Herbert Chitepo and Snowdon, Belvedere, Harare. The meeting will be a hybrid, with an option for members to attend online.
Eligibility to vote or to be voted for is determined by NASW membership status (membership fee for students is $5 and $12 for full members). Those that have already registered with the Association and wish to be eligible to vote should ensure that they are up to date with their annual subscriptions. Agenda items are as follows:
- President’s Report
- Post October 2023 Commission Report
- Treasurers Report
- Students Report
- Elections for Committee Members (2)
If any member has an additional item on the agenda, kindly forward to the General secretary 2 weeks in advance.
Notices of motions from members to reach the General Secretary’s office 7 days prior to the A.G.M. Notices which will come after the stipulated timelines will not be considered for the 2024 A.G.M
